    Cambridge, MASS. - The New England Football Writers released their annual College Division All-New England team and four student-athletes from the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) were honored.
  • Husson & Maritime Fall in Postseason Contests

    MARSHFIELD, Mass. - Husson University and Maritime College each lost in their postseason games this past weekend. The Eagles fell to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 38-14 in an NCAA Football First Round game while Springfield College defeated the Privateers 17-14 in a New England Bowl matchup.

    MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) announced their all-conference teams and major award winners for the 2018 season as voted on by the league’s seven head coaches. Student-athletes from all seven member institutions earned recognition with ECFC Champions, Husson University, leading the way with nine First-Team selections and four of the league’s major awards.

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The NCAA Division III Football Committee announced today the field of 32 teams for the 2018 NCAA Division III Football Championship. The committee selected teams based on conference results and competition within an institution's respective evaluation region. Husson will be traveling to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y. for the first meeting between the Eagles and Engineers in program history on Saturday, November 17th.

    BANGOR, Maine - It was a rainy and windy fall day at the Dr. John W. Winkin Complex on Saturday, as the Husson University (7-2, 6-0 ECFC) football team clinched their third-straight Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) Championship with a 63-2 victory over Gallaudet University in the program's final ECFC game.

    THROGGS NECK, N.Y. - On Monday Director of Athletics Kristofer Schnatz has announced the hiring of Vincent DiGaetano to fill the role of head football coach for the 2018 season. DiGaetano returns to Maritime after serving as an assistant coach with the program from its inception in 2005 through the 2015 season.
