IRVING, Texas - The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced today the members of the 2019 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of play who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. An all-time high of 1,643 players from a record 424 schools qualified for membership in the Society's 13th year.
Mickey Rehring has been named the new head coach of the Maritime College football program, as announced by Director of Athletics, Kristofer Schnatz on Monday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. Coach Rehring joins the Privateers after seven seasons with Johns Hopkins University as the Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach from 2012-2018.
WASHINGTON - Gallaudet University, the defending Helmet Bowl national champions, finished in the top 16 nationally in Helmet Bowl II presented by Helmet Tracker. The Bison were the No. 3 seed in the East Region and fell in voting to No. 2 seed Lafayette College in the third round.
